Built, welded, and mounted 25 exterior light brackets to improve airfield fuel tanker site visibility by 95% for refueling over three million dollars of flight line vehicles and aircraft. Corrected Air Force Fire Department safety hazards by fabricating and installing 85 linear feet of handrails for 44 personal at a water treatment facility, ensuring AF-OSHA standards and conditions were meet.
Leadership and Inspection:
Supervised a 15-man team in an Olympic pool rejuvenation project by replacing over 547 square feet of tile and mortar base. As well as resurfacing treatment to the entire 6,564 cubic feet of underwater surface area. Trained 9 coworkers on engraving and sign printing equipment keeping up with continuity for future rotations. Inspected, inventoried & packed 29 temporary tent kits, ensuring 3 rapid response team deployment plans were mission ready.
Installation/Removal and Construction:
Dismantled, relocated, and reassembled over 100-foot conveyor belt, track lifting booms, compressed air lines, and lighting for Honda snow blowers assembly line; 5 days earlier than originally bid. Removed and installed 2 static aircraft blast deflectors by producing high tensile strength welds, in order to restore F-15 and F-16 engine test capabilities.
Restoration and Repair:
Critical team member in restoring 13 Katrina damaged homes and repaired over 45,700 square feet of interior living space to help create habitable conditions for victims in Saint Bernard Parish Louisiana. Repaired and welded 3 aircraft arresting systems worth a total $982,000 and returned the systems to 100% operations in less than 24 hours.
